Technical and professional skills are not only those found in trainings.
True leaders, role models, CEOs and Presidents regularly pass on their
valuable insights to their team, on where the company is going, where
the market is heading, what is right and what is not so right, changes
that are needed… Leaders bring change and evolution into their business
by working on their people.
Ultra Mashup Studio
and Player
technologies enable Live Broadcase to keep your team aligned by
communicating your vision regularly via Ultra Mashup powered Corporate
TV. In many cases,
Ultra Tracking and
Ultra Feedback provide additional value on top of the live
communication, to track who is watching and to see if they are getting
the message!

Today's learner requires on-demand learning from connected knowledge
networks.
In the traditional corporate university model, developed over the
last 30 years, companies create a “place to go” to learn. These
organizations have many offerings to choose from, they are centralized
and located at corporate headquarters, and are staffed for peak demand.
The business environment in the last 5-10 years has changed
dramatically. Today the economy is growing yet most organizations face a
talent “squeeze.” A significant number of older workers are retiring -
and with them go some of the most critical skills in the organization.
Workers no longer sit in an office next to their managers where they can
be coached and trained: they now work everywhere and anywhere (i.e. the
“flattening of the earth”). HR managers no longer speak of learning and
development, they now worry about “talent management.” These changes
have led to three important demands for learning:
- Learning must available “on-demand,”
- it must be “job-relevant,” and
- it must be “constantly changing.”
These new drivers are making the corporate university model impossible to
maintain.
Ultra Mashup technologies provide the required ingredients to create an
on-demand, job-relevant and dynamic learning environment, via interactive videos
available live and on-demand, with built in capability to track learners’
progress through training courses.

The learner of today also expects to use the connectedness of the Internet to
exchange knowledge with others. Corporates can make excellent use of this
“corporate social knowledge networks” to cross-train employees and to capitalize
on knowledge “out there”.
Web2.0 is the connected web: video sharing, social networking, professional
networking, massively multiplayer online games, video-chatting, sharing files
and information on various platforms, Mashups that combine one data piece with
another, web-services, cloud-computing, ...
The Horizon Report 2008 states that Social Operating Systems will be the
learning platforms of the future. Corporate learning and training programs must
be able to make use of technology that is shaping the knowledge world.
Even within an organization, knowledge can stay distribtued and dispersed. A
mechanism is required to connect and share knowledge via live videos and on
demand content that is created easily by anyone anytime and anyplace. Mobile
phones and PDAs of today are great knowledge capture tools.
Ultra Mashup technologies provide an organization the ability to link contents
from various sources, and the ease of creation and publishing trainings; thus
providing the ability to build corporate social knowledge networks.
